Google mobile OS - The Android

Google announced the Android OS yesterday. It's a new mobile phone OS, targeting the current market of the Symbian OS.
Little is known at this point, but it should feature software which directly interfaces with Google's online services in a way no mobile phone currently does.
Google scored a partnership with 34 industry giants, including hardware makers and telecom operators.
Rumors of a Google phone are still alive, despite this. The software will be out in the second half of 2008, they will only lack the hardware.

PS3 - 40GB model with 90nm chips

The rumors about the new 40GB SKU of the PS3 using 65nm were false.
It seems the console still uses 90nm chips for both the GPU and CPU.
Still, with all the stuff they removed, the console has some impressive energy savings compared to the other models.
Energy consumption is down from 200W to 135W.
More information as soon as one gets disassembled.
